Book Chats #1

Hey lovelies~!

So, I’ve been suffering with a bit of a reading slump for the past couple months but I managed to pull myself out of it last week when I saw the hype over the new Netflix film; To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

I then found the book in Waterstones and decided to give it a go. Contemporary romances are normally NOT my thing but I surprisingly enjoyed it!

It’s definitely an easy and simple read, and sometimes those books are the best – especially for helping one come out of an awful reading slump.

I loved all of the characters; Lara Jean, Peter, Josh, Kitty, etc. and I can’t wait to read the next too books. I also really loved the film; of course, it’s not as good as the book as it misses a lot of things and changes the odd scene but it’s definitely something I could watch again on a rainy day. 🙂

I then chose to read a little ghost story by Victoria Schwab – now, this is the first book I read by her and I LOVED it! So I’ll for sure be checking out her other books, ie/ A Darker Shade of Magic.

I really, really enjoyed this book and the main characters; Cassidy and Jacob – Jacob’s great and I want a best friend like him~!

I’ve always believed in the spirit world and that’s what first drew me to pick up this book. York’s one of my favourite places to visit because of it’s ghostly antics and now I want to go to Edinburgh – Old Town – and so me and my parents are planning on heading there one week in October – close to Halloween!! I can’t wait!

I’m now reading a book called Theatrical and it’s another contemporary romance, so we’ll see how this one goes!

I hope you’re having a very lovely and safe day/night and I’ll chat again soon~!
