-York Travels & Mini Haul-

Saturday afternoon the parents and I decided to visit York as the Christmas Market was on… we should have picked a different day!

Hi all, I’m back! I’ve been so busy with work recently as Christmas is coming up and so I haven’t had the time to post anything, sorry about that! 🙂

So, the Saturday that has just gone, we decided to head into York. I don’t know why we didn’t expect this, but it was absolutely rammed with people. I spent most of the time clutching the back of my dad’s coat as we made are way through the crowds.

I did, however, enjoy it very much and there’s a very cute and quirky little shop I highly recommend you to visit – it’s called The Imaginarium and it sells very eccentric and historical decor and items. If I could live in that shop, I would! 😀

We also went down the Shambles and nearly every shop sells something Harry Potter related – I was not complaining!! We past by the Minster as well which is my favourite place in York. I am obsessed with ancient architecture – in the past, everything was more detailed and you could tell that a lot of time went into designing and building.

During a different shopping time – I got my hands on a physical copy of A Place Called Perfect – as the cover is simply stunning!

I also, finally, bought The Lord of the Rings; this particular book has all three in one and so it’s massive and very weighty. I’ve been wanting to read the books for ages as I absolutely LOVE the films. So far, I’m loving it! ❤

Finally, I grabbed some ELF pyjamas. It’s my all time favourite Christmas films and even one of my all time favourite films in general. I saw them before in Primark but they only had large in – luckily, the second time I went they had stocked up on my size – I didn’t hesitate before snatching it off the shelf! xD

So there we are! Into December and not long until Christmas officially hits us! I can’t wait! Thank you all so much for viewing and I hope you have a wonderful and safe day/night~!
